[edit] Altessa's House
Altessa is a skilled dwarf that lives on his own creating weapons and is a minor character that helps Lloyd and the group in Tales of Symphonia. His house is east of Ozette,outside of the forest. In his house you will find various charms and armors though out the rooms. He has four beds for the group to rest in and a wide-spread of food on his diningroom table. Tabatha, a doll that Altessa made that oldly resembles Martel, can be seen standing near the fireplace in one corner of the main room. In another section of the house, at one point in the game, a little gnome can be seen there, asking for something sweet. This area of the house seems to be Altessa's work room, t in it he has several stools, two desks with crafting tools on top and a board where he hangs even more of his crafting items. At the end of the dining room, there is a hallway that is blocked off by a chain, and at no point during either games fo we get to see what is inside the hidden room. At one point in the game, there is a scene taking place outside of his house, rocks fall down from the cliff, and they almost crush Tabatha, who is saved by Mithos. After this part in the game, huge rocks are at the front of his house, making the house seem dangerous.

In the sequel to Tales of Symphonia, Presea takes Marta and Emil to Altessa's House for safety measures in an attempt to hide from the Vangaurd. Altessa will welcome you to his house, and when you fight Magnar, if you win, he will hold Magnar hostage.
