Astral Rain

Astral Rain (アストラル・レイン / アストラルレイン, Asutoraru Rein / Asutorarurein^?, "Astral Rain") is a mystic arte used by archers in the Tales series. This arte is usually written with an interpunct in Japanese, though it lacks one in Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology.

Arte Description and History

In Astral Rain, the user brings forth a glyph under the targeted enemy or enemies, then pulls an arrow from their quiver as a shining light appears at the tip. Finally, the user shoots the arrow into the sky and a multitude of light rays shower all targets in range before a final pillar of light damages the targets within the glyph. It is Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear's first mystic arte in Tales of the Abyss.
