Black Hole (ブラックホール Burakkuhooru?) is a powerful Dark-elemental spell appearing in several installments of the Tales series.
Arte Description and History
Black Hole summons a large black hole at the center of the battle screen and draws all light into it, depicting the event as a mass of darkness and shadow spreading throughout the screen. Originally, it inflicted instant death, but it has since been repurposed as a Dark-elemental attack spell.
In Tales of Legendia, Black Hole manifests as a black mass that distorts the game's graphics, pulsing and dealing damage to all in its grasp. Though Black Hole does not make an appearance as an in-battle arte in Tales of Destiny 2 until its PlayStation Portable port, Karell Berselius uses Black Hole when he displays the power of his Swordian to eliminate a portion of the attacking forces at Dycroft.
