Blast Heart

Blast Heart (ブラストハート, Burasutohaato^?) is Raven's exclusive mystic arte in Tales of Vesperia, in which he uses the power of his blastia heart to attack his enemies.

Arte Description and History[]

Once executed, Raven will unleash a tower of energy, and when it stops, a large ball of energy appears at his chest and explodes. After executing the mystic arte, Raven will clutch his chest as if he has strained his heart, emphasizing the fact that he uses his own life force to perform the arte. Unlike the mystic artes of the other main characters, this one is first seen used by Raven in his Schwann guise when he fights the party, prior to when the player has the option to use it themselves. The stagger that occurs after its use also occurs when he is Schwann and is important to a secret mission. In Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3, Raven does not stagger after using Blast Heart.

After using the mystic arte for the first time as Raven, a skit will be available where Judith asks if Raven is all right. In the skit, Raven wonders if he really can take more. Later, after he uses the technique a fair amount of times, a new skit will be available, where Raven divulges to Yuri Lowell that he is surprised that he has not died yet.
