Bone-Chill Blade

Bone-Chill Blade (絶氷刃, Zehhyoujin^?, "Finish Ice Edge") is an Aqua- and Water-elemental arte in the Tales series, commonly associated with Veigue Lungberg from Tales of Rebirth.

Arte Description and History

When this arte is activated, the user slams their sword down at an enemy in front of them, their blade shrouded in an aura of ice. It is generally the first arte that Veigue learns, and in Tales of Rebirth, it is obtained automatically during the fight with Tohma in the village of Sulz. When equipped with the unique accessory "Majin no Tamashii" (魔神の魂^?), this arte with alter into the classic sword arte Majinken when the assigned Force Gauge is completely filled. In Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2, however, this requirement is removed, and Veigue instead learns Majinken separately through a quest.
