Chat appears in a cottage that you come across after getting out of Gnome's place. When the team first enters the cottage, they are knocked out with sleeping gas and then are forced to try to find their way out of seven strange basements with the use of rubber ducks.
When they finally get out though, they are greeted by a strange boy dressed up as a pirate, congratulating them on being able to escape. They soon learn that this little boy was the one who made them go through the dungeons! And here's another shocking discovery: The little boy is actually a girl!
Chat tells them that she is a descendant of Aifread and that she wants them to join her crew of... one. According to her, she needs more crew members to ride the her ship. Eventually, the team is forced to go along with her since they need a ship to go to their destinations.
Sometime later in the game, Chat is able to join your team. Her weapon of choice are handbags.She can use her skill to steal items from the enemies.
