Chelsea Torn is a minor but playable character in Tales of Destiny. In Japan, the original romanized spelling of her name was Chelsea Tone (チェルシー・トーン Cherushii Toon?), but official materials for recent games such as Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 display her name as Chersea Tone. Both variations are written in the same way using Japanese katakana characters.

In Tales of Destiny, Chelsea greatly admires Garr Kelvin due to his dedication to learning archery while he trained under her grandfather, Alba. In the beginning of the story, Stahn Aileron and Garr search for a lost Chelsea in the woods near her grandfather's cabin. They find her crying under a tree, and she joins the party until they return to the cabin. She later rejoins the party at Heidelberg Castle.
In Tales of Destiny 2, Chelsea can be met despite not being a part of the central plot. She lives alone in a cabin, making bows to sell in Heimendall in order to help rebuild the town of Janos. She does not recognize that Kyle Dunamis is Stahn and Rutee Katrea's son, nor tells the party that she once knew them.
