Chronic Angelus Crystallus Inofficium

It is a sickness in Tales of Symphonia that only affects one of a million users of Cruxis Crystals. The only people known to have had Chronic Angelis Crystallus Inofficium is Martel Yggdrasill and Colette Brunel.

One of the symptoms for the sickness is that the body begins to crystallize. This crystallizing makes Colette think she is becoming "one big Exsphere". The other symptom may be that of mana draining, as Colette often collapses and is in pain after being brought back from her soulless state.
[edit] Speculations about how to get the sickness
Although the specific reason for Colette’s rejection of her Cruxis Crystal, the reason she obtained the sickness may be because of the Key Crest Lloyd gave her, since it gave her soul back, going against the mechanism of a Cruxis Crystal. It may also be because her mana signature was so close to Martel's, the other bearer of the same sickness long time ago. It might as well have been a mix of those two reasons.

In order to cure the Chronic Angelis Crystallus Inofficium, it is needed a Rune Crest, another version of Key Crest. To make a Rune Crest, a Mana Fragment, a Mana Leaf Herb, and Zircon are required. This causes Lloyd and the rest of the party to travel as far as Heimdall and even Derris-Kharlan to retrieve these ingredients. Afterward, the group gives their items to Altessa, who makes the Rune Crest.
