Arte Description and History
The user creates a small, circular glyph on the ground below the enemy. They then continue with a quick horizontal slash, summoning dark flames to rise from the glyph to lift and damage the enemy. The PlayStation 2 remake of Tales of Destiny adds an initial thrust that allows the user to phase through the enemy before creating the glyph. As an actual attack, it can be used somewhat effectively against a group of monsters near the user. However, it has a long animation period that many make it hard to use without risking interruption.
In Tales of Destiny 2, this arte is required to activate the mystic arte extension Giren Shoureizan, the most powerful and symbolic of all of Judas's mystic artes when combined with its own extension, Majin Rengokusatsu. It loses this function in Tales of Destiny, but it remains as one of the artes that connect Leon Magnus with his future self.
