Diffusional Drive

Diffusional Drive (ディフュージョナルドライヴ, Difyuujonarudoraivu^?) is a Water-elemental magic arte in the Tales series.

Arte Description and History

Diffusional Drive began as the Water-elemental variation of Rita Mordio's burst arte in Tales of Vesperia. It altered from Mystic Drive when the "Great Deluge" and "Dispersion" passive skills are equipped. As a burst arte, it increases in appearance and damage with the level of Over Limit activated. The first level summons liquid bullets that rise into the air. The second level then creates a twisting combination of several columns in the center, which the final level completes with a giant bubble falling down. It eventually becomes divorced from Mystic Drive as a spirit magic arte in Tales of Xillia and its sequel. It summons a small pool of water, from which liquid bullets rise into the air to pierce through enemies, and ends with a small healing effect. Through his "Arte Tuning" special ability, Rowen Ilbert can control the center of the spell's effect, even after casting.
