Estellise Sidos Heurassein is an 18 year old noblewoman who has spent all of her life growing up in Zaphias Castle. Due to her restrictive upbringing she has gained most of her worldly knowledge through books. As a result she's developed a love for reading, able to recite various passages by heart. Proficient in healing artes she was also trained in swordsmanship by famed Imperial knight, Drake Dropwart.

Despite an abundance of trivial knowledge she is sorely lacking in real world experience. This becomes evident with her difficulty in making critical decisions. Good-natured and selfless she will often put others in front of her own goals.

She first encounters Yuri Lowell as they are both attempting to escape from the castle. She enlists his aide in her search for Flynn Scifo. After reuniting with Flynn she decides to continue traveling with Yuri in order to broaden her horizons.

During their journey it is revealed that Estelle is both a princess and a leading candidate to succeed the throne. Unbeknownst to her she also embodies the powers of "The Child of the Full Moon". With the ability to use healing artes without a blastia she draws her powers directly from the world's aer.

Equipped with swords, staves and shields. Estelle is best used as a healer with excellent healing and support artes. She is also capable of using light based magic.

In the end credits, Estelle can be seen reading to children, as well as finishing and closing a book she has written herself. A sidequest in the game revolving around the tree reveals that Estelle chooses to write stories after discovering how well she can make them up on the spot, wanting to make people happy with her writing. Her book has 15 symbols on the front, arranged in groups of 5, 2, and 8, likely spelling out "Tales of Vesperia", but this is not confirmed. The images in the end credits could represent the illustrations from her stories, considering their storybook art style.
