Lundgrom (ルーングロム Ruunguromu?) is a supporting character in Tales of Phantasia. He is a court magician in Alvanista Castle, having served its King and Queen for several generations. Although he is an elf, he does not live with the other elves in their lands. During the events of the story, he is present in both the past and future timelines. In the past, he frees the heroes from the castle's dungeon and gives them the spear Gungnir and a book of magic, both of which were in possession by the demon Jahmir, who manipulated Prince Laird. In the future timeline, Lundgrom is still alive due to his elven heritage, and he informs the heroes of three artifacts belonging to ancient civilizations, which will help them defeat Dhaos.
