Story[]

The plot covers the beginning of the game. Sorey and Mikleo explore ruins together until they come across an injured woman, who awakens and requests a place to rest and regroup. Despite the fact that she is a normal human and thus unable to see seraphim, such as Mikleo, Sorey decides to bring her back to his hometown of Elysia. Though this incurs the anger of Gramps, as Elysia is a town inhabited by the seraphim, and humanity is said to bring malevolence. Mikleo convinces him to relent and allow the woman time to recuperate. Sorey and the woman bond over their shared love for the Celestial Record, a book that details legends.

Eventually, Sorey learns from the woman that the world has been beset by disasters of all kinds, so she has resorted to exploring legends to find a solution. That night, the village is infiltrated by the hellion Lunarre, who devours one of the villagers and is only driven off by the full force of the village. The next day, the woman reveals her name, Alisha Diphda, and departs. Sorey comes to the realization that Lunarre was no random event: he was looking for Alisha. Unable to leave her alone, Sorey decides to leave the village and is interrupted by Mikleo, who brings that knowledge that Gramps anticipated this and gave his blessings. Together, Sorey and Mikleo journey into the wider world outside of their village.
