Arte Description and History

When Flame Lance is cast, it summons a single blade of fire from the sky that strikes into the ground at an angle, causing a small explosion that deals moderate Fire damage and knocks down all enemies within range.
In Tales of Symphonia, Genis Sage learns this spell at level 24 while he is on the Strike branch line. Flame Lance is also required to learn both Thunder Arrow and Spiral Flare, two other spells on the Strike branch. Many boss enemies, including Efreet and Origin, can use this spell.
