Fooji Mountains

The Fooji Mountains is the first area the Tales of Symphonia-party visits in Tethe'alla.

Due to Colette breaking all the seals in Sylvarant, Tethe’alla is too short on mana, forcing the group to crash-land with their Rheairds. They are forced to walk down the mountain, and at the end, they agree to go to Meltokio in order to find a way to help Colette from her soulless state.

When they come back later on to get the Rheairds back, everybody except for the soulless Colette get caught by a magical trap by Yuan, who is there to take Lloyd and retrieve the stolen Rheairds. Just then, Pronyma arrives, wondering why Yuan is present. Pronyma says that she is there under Yggdrasill’s orders to pick up Colette. Yuan lets her do it, but right before Pronyma takes her, Colette becomes normal, wondering where she is and what is going on. Managing to catch up with the situation before it is too late, she gets Pronyma away from her before she trips over some device that holds the trap barrier up. Destroying it when she falls, the barrier goes off, and the party battles Pronyma. After she is defeated, Lloyd runs over to Yuan to fight him. However, before he comes too close, Kratos interferes, telling Yuan to leave. Giving the first hint about Colette’s more serious decease, Yuan reveals his light-purple wings and flies off, shocking everybody. Kratos, asking what they are doing in Tethe’alla, tells them that their efforts will be useless in the end, before he and Pronyma flies off. After that, the group decides to continue the journey, wanting to find a way to stop the cycle of the two worlds.

After seeing Yuan look for something at Hima, the party once again sees him at the Fooji Mountains. Colette, asking what it is, is shouted at by Yuan, making Sheena angry at him. However, Colette continues to ask him what he’s looking for, eventually suggesting a flower. Finally reaching his limits, Yuan reveals that he is looking for a ring, before he leaves. Lloyd then gives the ring he found in Hima before the first visit at the Tower of Salvation, and Raine reads what’s on it. It turns out that it is an engage ring which later is revealed to be between Yuan and Martel, before the latter died.
