Forums: Index > Watercooler > Drama CD and Novel only characters

Well I thought of this, as I wish to write an article later on Kharyon. The wife of Dhaos in both the Novel & Drama CD... Should it be done? I don't see why this wiki should be limited only to info only that's in the games, as novel and drama CD characters seem moderately popular in the eastern region (Japan). I have not seen any rules against it (as far as I've looked around for anything involving the issue.) But I'm not 100% sure of whether or not this should be done.

I want opinions. What'ta ya guys think? =3= Should we allow novel/drama CD only characters to have articles or not??

Considering how integral the drama CDs and novels are to Phantasia's true story, we really do need pages for those characters and the media themselves. For other game continuities it might not be as important, and I would try to persuade people to avoid working on things from them, perhaps with the exceptions of Primula from Tales of Fandom v1 and the deliciously sadistic original Ion from the Abyss manga gaiden. I mean, it's great to say something about Flail Albert, Valta Sigmund, and Francis Daath from the Abyss drama CDs, but they just aren't that important. But with Phantasia, the extra characters and storyline extensions are actually quite important, far more than what one would expect from the usual "extended universe" materials due to the staggering amount of content that was cut from Wolfteam's original script (dammit Namcooooooooo), and they need some recognition since most of the English speaking world doesn't know they exist at all. I mean, most people don't even know the names of the four heroes that defeated Dhaos in the original past timeline...
So yes I support these new articles, if you know enough to make the pages informative and useful.
