The Four Seraphim are the leaders of Cruxis in Tales of Symphonia. All of them have their own special wings compared to the other members of the holy organization, and all of them are the original founders who lived four-thousand years ago.
During the storyline, Remiel beleives that by offering the compatible vessel, Colette Brunel, for Martel, he can become one of the Four Serahpim, pushing him to attack the party when they attempt to recover Colette. However, it does not look like it would ever be considered.
It should be noted that although Martel is technically dead, she remains as the fourth Seraphim.
