Heresy Strike (異端 Itan / "Heretikku"?, "Heresey" / "Heretic") is a non-elemental martial arte exclusive to Dezel and Zaveid from Tales of Zestiria.
Arte Description and History[]
Depending on the direction the left analog stick is facing, the user will either strike their pendulum to a side while spinning or strike it upward.
In Tales of the Rays, Dezel and Zaveid's second Normal Attack uses this animation. Dezel fires a pendulum projectile whereas Zaveid uses it to fling the enemy into the air.
The arte's localization name partially derives from the meaning of the original kanji, "Itan" (異端?), which means "heresy".
