Arte Description and History
The user swings their weapon in front of them, releasing a beam of red light that deals damage in a chain of hits. Asbel Lhant's swings emit red trails, and he sends the beam with a slash. In Tales of Graces, it is one of the few artes whose execution changes between the Wii and PlayStation 3 versions. In the Wii version, using the arte twice in a row results in the full arte being repeated twice. In the PlayStation 3 version, the second arte in instead changed into a charge at the enemy. Asbel performs an uppercut that sends another beam of red light, calling this alteration "Infernal Blast". It is effective against spirit and nova enemies. Gaius's version of the move, on the other hand, releases the beam by extending his weapon-wielding arm straight in front of him.
