The Katz host searches that the party hire them for, they often give reward for successful searches. Their home village is the Katz Village. The party can through a side quest in the game that in involves getting a Katz costume as a reward for Genis.
[edit] Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
Katz have three important roles in this game, the first is allowing the party to choose which monsters they want to acompany them, the second is cooking which allows the monsters to grow and evolve into new classes, and the third is allowing Emil and Marta to take missions from clients from around the world. The clan still lives in the Katz Village.

Katz don't play a big role in the game. They are found living in a secret location blocked of by whirlpools and fire. The place were they live was made by the black bandits. In this game Katz are just humans in a costume, nothing more. There are also Kowz humans in cow suits.

Katz appear as a job (costume) for Frio Sven and Kyaro Olange that only have two artes: Hikkaki and Neko punch TotW:ND3 - Katz: Artes
