Lightning Punishment (雷旋豪天牙, Raisen Goutenga^?, "Thunder Rotation Great Heaven Fang") is a Lightning-elemental strike arte, thus far exclusive to Anise Tatlin from Tales of the Abyss.

Arte Description and History

In Tales of the Abyss, this arte is an FOF Change that is activated when Anise uses Dual Punishment within a complete Wind or Light FOF Circle. When the arte activates, Anise has her automated doll, Tokunaga, spin around multiple times with both arms outstretched, while a whirlwind of lightning surrounds her, damaging all enemies in range. While this arte has a different Japanese name from the Lightning Punishment arte that is associated with Presea Combatir from Tales of Symphonia, the similar nomenclature used for both names, Raisen Goutenga (雷旋豪天牙^?) and Raisen Goutenbu (雷旋豪転斧^?); similar artes used for activation; and similar appearances of the artes show that they are related.
