Lucky Cat (ゴルドカッツ Gorudokattsu?, "Gold Cats"), alternatively known as Gold Cat, is an arte in the Tales series.
Arte Description and History
A large golden statue of a grinning cat is dropped onto enemies, and gold coins scatter about the area around it. The number of hits the spell does can be increased depending on the amount of Gald is in the player's possession, but no Gald is spent in casting the spell. Gold Cat is both Fire- and Earth-elemental, most likely around the idea that fire and earth combine to make a metal element. This spell can be learned by using Tractor Beam with the "Hell Fire" and "Athenor" skills equipped. In Tales of Xillia 2, this arte can either drop a gold cat on the enemy or, in a humorous slant, a silver statue of Rollo that moves slightly when dropped.
