[edit] Appearances

Origin is the Summon Spirit of All Things. He appears as a four-armed man wielding weapons in all of his hands. He goes from his rather pretty-boy appearance in Phantasia to a muscled-man in Symphonia.

[edit] Tales of Phantasia

Origin appears as a man with four arms, each wielding a lance. As the Lost King of the Dwarves, the Spirit of All Things, Origin is found at a tombstone in Heimdall Forest and is angered that the party would break the seals of frost and fire: the Vorpal Sword and Flamberge. In his anger, he fights the party. Though subdued, he nonetheless raises pointed questions about Dhaos' arrival, but nonetheless acknowledges his defeat and grudgingly who combines the Three Weapons (the Flamberge, the Vorpal Sword, and the Diamond pact ring) into the Eternal Sword. Claus summons him in Arlee, where, as a one-time favor, Origin allows Claus to look into the past and see Milard.

Origin uses the Diamond Ring to forge a pact, granting Claus F. Lester with the power to summon him in battle. When summoned, Origin splits himself into separate forms before raining energy between them.

[edit] Tales of Symphonia

Origin, the Ruler of All, appears as a muscular man with four arms, each of which wields a different weapon. He is found in the Torent Forest were Kratos Aurion is fought the final time, though he was originally sealed by Kratos's mana. Origin was bound to a pact by Mithos Yggdrasill but since Mithos took the Eternal Sword the pact was then broken and thus said "he will never form another pact". He is the Summon Spirit of Origin, though once defeated, he grants Sheena Fujibayashi with a pact in spite of his previous words. He also imbues Lloyd's swords, the Flamberge and Vorpal Sword from his fathers, with the power to combine into the Eternal Sword. Once summoned through the arte Summon: Origin (降霊召符・源 Koureishoufu: Minamoto?), Origin uses his signature tech, Rameesh, raising the party's attack and defense at the same time.

[edit] Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon

Origin is the Spirit of All Things and one of the twelve Spirits which must be fought during the Ordeal of Spirits. He is found on the last level of the Forest of Holy Spirit in AC.4354 and is the boss of that dungeon. Upon defeat, he teaches Mel and Dio about absentmindedness (むしん mushin?) and nothingness ( mu?).[1]

[edit] Tales of the World: Summoner's Lineage

Fulein F. Lester can summon Origin as a unit.
