A mysterious formation of rocks in Tethe'alla. It has the power to transport people to other worlds if certain conditions are met. Raine and Genis were pushed into the Otherworldy Gate by their mother to send them to Sylvarant in an attempt to save them from the Imperial Research Academy. During the game, Lloyd and the others flee to the Otherworldy Gate in order to return to Sylvarant. This is where Raine reveals that the Otherworldy Gate have been the ruins she's been looking for.
In Dawn of the New World, the Otherworldy Gate again plays a key role in transporting the heroes to the Ginnungagap.
