Phalanx (ファランクス, Farankusu^?) is an self-boosting technique in the Tales series.

Arte Description and History

Phalanx is a self-buffing arte that prevents the user from staggering for a short duration of time. In Tales of the Abyss, this arte is the result of using Cavalry in a complete Fire or Light FOF Circle, and it has an increased duration compared to the original arte. In Tales of Xillia 2, it is a linked arte used by Ludger Will Kresnik and Gaius. This version not also does damage to enemies surrounding the pair but also expands its effect to cover an area.
