The Priest (僧侶, Souryo^?) is a recurring job class in the Tales series, named Cleric in Narikiri Dungeon games. A priest's moveset essentially consists of healing and support spells, such as the basic healing arte First Aid or the defense-increasing Barrier, though they do occasionally stray into light-elemental attack spells such as Photon, Holy Lance, and Judgment.

There are three Priest-type classes, a Healer and Cleric available to both Mel and Dio and a Priestess available to only Mel.

The Clerics (クレリック, Kurerikku^?) are a series of costumes for both Frio Sven and Kyaro Orange. To obtain a cleric requires giving a costume the Scriptures (きょうてん, Kyouten^?) root item to get the Cleric of the same element. The Cleric variations are:

• Non-Elemental: Cleric (クレリック, Kurerikku^?)
• Fire: Shaman (きとうし, Kitoushi^?)
• Wind: Pilgrim (じゅんれいしゃ, Junreisha^?)
• Water: Priest (プリースト, Puriisuto^?) (Male) and Priestess (プリーステス, Puriisutesu^?) (Female)
• Earth: Druid (ドルイド, Doruido^?)
• Thunder: Mystic (ミスティック, Misutikku^?)
• Light: Prophet (よげんしゃ, Yogensha^?)
• Dark: Depraved Monk (はかいそう, Hakaisou^?)
• Void: Bishop (ビショップ, Bishoppu^?)

Mint Adenade's and Philia Felice's costumes are based on the Cleric.

The Clerics (クレリック, Kurerikku^?) are a set of costumes for Frio Sven and Kyaro Orange. To obtain the Cleric costumes, both Frio and Kyaro must combine their respective Costume Artist (なりきりし, Narikirishi^?) costumes with the root Scriptures (きょうてん, Kyouten^?).

Mint Adenade and Loni Dunamis both have their costumes based off of the Cleric.

The Holy Craymel Mage (聖晶霊術士, Seishoureijutsushi^?) was one of the starter classes, specializing in healing and support spells. The female versions were modeled after Meredy.
