Pulse Shot (ワイドショット Waidoshotto?, "Wide Shot") is a strike arte used by Arche Klein in Tales of the Rays and Alvin from Tales of Xillia.
Arte Description and History[]
Alvin crouches, holding his gun close to his chest, then waves it to his front, firing a large, multi-hitting bullet of purple energy. In Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2, this arte forces downed enemies to stand after 200 uses, and in Tales of Xillia 2 only, this arte's attack speed increases after 100 uses. Also in Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2, if Alvin has at least one charge stacked, this arte will alter into Sweeping Shot. In Tales of the Rays, this arte is Dark-elemental.
Arche also gets this arte in Tales of the Rays, where it is Earth-elemental and manifests as a flurry of Earth mana bullets shot from the front of the broom at the enemy. It is derived from her second level of forward shot in the Groovy Arche minigame.
