The Radiants are special equipment worn by ancient heros, present in both Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology and Radiant Mythology 2. They will appear only to those worthy of wielding their power.

Thousands of years ago, a war broke out between countries for the control of the World Tree. Then, during the midst of the battle a lone warrior stood out and stop the war. This warrior, the Radiant, was the one who possesed the legendary equipment. When the war ended, peace was bestowed but the warrior vanished. And thus the Radiant remained, waiting for the day for the one who is truly worthy of their power to call upon their service.
