Shimmering Darkness

Shimmering Darkness (閃闇裂破刃, Sen'en Reppajin^?, "Flashing Darkness Splitting Tearing Blade") is a combination arte used by Kor Meteor and Kunzite in Tales of Hearts and Ludger Will Kresnik and Elize Lutus in Tales of Xillia 2.

Arte Description and History[]

One user, the dark specialist, charges their sword-wielding partner with dark energy, who then performs a flurry of thrusts. The sword-wielder then finishes with a larger, final thrust. In Tales of Hearts, it is a combination of Kor's Light Spear Blast and Kunzite's Churning Miasma. It can be seen as combining Light Spear Blast's multiple thrusts with Churning Miasma's larger, singular thrust. In Tales of Xillia 2, Ludger is the sword-wielder and adds a final, X-shaped cut to the end.
