Purgatory Seal

Purgatory Seal (操冥符, Soumeifu^?, "Afterlife Manipulation Seal") is a support spell exclusive to Sheena Fujibayashi from Tales of Symphonia.

Arte Description and History

In its original form in Tales of Symphonia, this arte revives a party member from the knocked-out status without recovering HP, leaving the character with 0 HP. The character can function normally within battle as if they are still alive, but if the character is not healed as soon as possible through spells or items, any enemy attack will force the character to be knocked out and incapacitated once again. The effect is altered slightly in Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 to revive with only 1 HP.
