[edit] Apple Gumi
Everyone who preordered Tales of Phantasia: Full Voice Edition recieved a free DVD called Apple Gumi. It featured all of the characters from Tales of Phantasia. Their interview was diplayed in the form of a voice-acted face skit.
It features...
- Zelos trying to hit on Mint.
- Claus complaining about being called old.
- Suzu complaining about not being voted in the Top 30 list of Tales characters.
- Jade making fun of Tales of Phantasia's battle system by challenging Cress to a duel.
- Zelos explaining how Tales of Phantasia is all about love.
[edit] Orange Gumi
Orange Gumi was given away with pre-orders of Tales of Destiny (PS2).
[edit] Peach Gumi
Peach Gumi was given away with pre-orders of Tales of Destiny 2 (PSP).
[edit] Lemon Gumi
Lemon Gumi was given away with pre-orders of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology.
In this short, Jade and Zelos interview Reid Hershel from Tales of Eternia, Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia, Senel Coolidge from Tales of Legendia, Veigue Lungberg from Tales of Rebirth, and Luke fon Fabre from Tales of the Abyss (Jade laments over how they weren't able to get "short-haired" Luke, so they're forced to deal with "long-haired" Luke instead). Tales of Symphonia's Sheena Fujibayashi also makes an appearance
In this video, Jade and Zelos asked the aforementioned heroes what they thought would be the perfect Tales of the World game.
- Reid says that he's a country boy that doesn't know much about games, but then suggests similar names and concepts of real games such as Brain Age: Train your Brain in Minutes a Day, and Monster Hunter
- Lloyd suggests a dating simulator where you could attempt to go out with different females in the Tales of series. This results in Zelos complaining that he wouldn't be able to date any of the main girls such as Tear and Colette, and winds up producing an angry Sheena.
- Senel suggests that a Tales fighting game would be logical considering that the Battle system is similar to many fighting games already. It would also allow him to show off his throwing skills. He and Zelos duel after Zelos mentions that Senel's throwing style wouldn't be very effective. Zelos proceeds to defeat Senel twice, although his second round victory was a bit of a fluke.
- Veigue suggests a "Tales of Reversi" board game, where players choose to play as Hyuuma or Gajuma, and the game is won when both sides have the same number of pieces (to show that the two groups can coexist) Reid is confused by the concept, which greatly angers Veigue.
- Luke suggests a game where you can raise cheagles, but instead of "Feeding it, playing with it and getting it to like you", one would force it to spit fire, smack it around, and discipline it. Jade says that this game would be criticized for mindless violence, and instead makes fun of Luke by suggesting a game where you play as Tales of the Abyss's Guy, raising a "rare animal" that can neither speak or walk, and if it runs off it is capable of destroying the world. Fortunately, you can readjust its personality by giving it a haircut.
At the conclusion of the show, Jade receives a notice that Eugene Gallardo and Annie Barrs will be the representatives of Tales of Rebirth, not Veigue.
[edit] Golden Gumi
It has been revealed that the preorder bonus for Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 will be named Golden Gumi Dramatic DVD, and it's chat drama will be named Golden Victory. It features Kannono Earhart, Chelsea Torn from Tales of Destiny, Meredy from Tales of Eternia, Natalia Luzu Kimlasca Lanvaldear from Tales of the Abyss, Karol Capel and Repede from Tales of Vesperia. Interestingly, none of these character (except Kannono) make any apperance in Radiant Mythology 2.
