I'm looking at character profiles on the official site and I noticed that the names in URL doesn't exactly correlate with the English names we have listed here. Where did we get them from? "Sara" is "Sala" in the URL, "Lippi" is "Rippi" in the URL, and "Shiza" is "Siza" in the URL.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 20:15, October 9, 2015 (UTC)
I took those names from Abyssal Chronicles, and you can find the link in the references.
- (My gosh, I didn't bother looking at that article; I'm so ashamed of myself.) O~kay. Still, the article uses literal transliteration since there are no English names given in the source images it has linked. With the website having kind of official English names, even if it's only in URL, shouldn't we use them? I can't really find any page on Aselia:Portal which could dispel my doubts about it (although I think Aselia:Japanese would be the closest place for that).—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 23:11, October 9, 2015 (UTC)
I'm going to stick with Abyssal Chronicles's names because proper romanizations may exist somewhere. A URL is too iffy.
- Okay, thanks.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 23:58, October 9, 2015 (UTC)
V 1.9.1. adds English localization! Does this mean anything for the Wiki coverage-wise?
Just that we will follow our localization conventions and prioritize localized terms/spellings over any others.
