I figure, why not have the main character art on the main page temporarily until the game is released and/or we have enough information to give each character their own page? Redkun 23:12, March 28, 20
Mystic Artes/Hi ougis
I had a feeling that Jude's Hi Ougi would be Satsugeki Bukoken. Lol, I bet it won't be good as Stahn satsugeki in ToD DC. Now that was beast. --VanityCalibur 18:31, August 6, 2011 (UTC)VanityCalibur
Not meant to be
I guess this game wasn't meant to be localized. A shame really. Graces F did much better. Especially now that a sequel has been announced. 40pxSigned, Winxfan1. I am the ultimate fan of Winx Club40px 02:06, June 3, 2012 (UTC)
- Don't give up hope yet. There's got to be some kind of announcement coming up, right? Our Namco branch did promise, and while we've had reason to dislike their decisions over the years, something has to be coming. Letdragon 23:46, June 19, 2012 (UTC)
I really don't see why it wouldn't be. It was very well-received in Japan, and Namco has been fairly kind when it comes to popular Mothership Titles, Not to mention, the name has already been trademarked in both Europe and North America. There are several online articles who have announced it, but here is one.

Come on people, time to Kirby dance! We're finally getting this game! :D Letdragon 16:43, July 6, 2012 (UTC)
While they have yet to confirm who the English voice actors are, I found on the abyssalchronicles site (http://www.abyssalchronicles.com/) that on March 29: "Tales of Series producer, Hideo Baba will be making his first North American appearance for 2013 to speak with fans about the popular RPG series’ 15th anniversary for North America and about this summer’s anticipated release of Tales of Xillia. Fans will also be able to meet the English voice actors for Tales of Xillia’s lead characters as they talk about their interpretations and inspirations for Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell." Hope this helps. Agarfinkel 12:56, March 18, 2013
A screenshot of the localized version of Xillia released today reveals that Elise's name has been changed to Elize, which is probably closer to how the Japanese seiyuu pronounced it.
So should her name be changed to Elize now, or does the name change only take effect until after the game has been released? I believe it's the latter, but I'll ask just in ask. MabiEditor (talk) 19:04, October 15, 2012 (UTC)
- Already aware, but the change will happen when the game is released since changes to everything may occur in the meantime. Her name could become Patty in a couple of months, who knows. Changes in development have happened even after official demos, after all, like Yuri's Twin Fist and Destruction Blast.
Tales of Xillia is coming out this year in July 2, 2013. I just came back from Gamestop and I'm so exicted!!!
Sorry, but in the recent Abyssal Chronicles article (http://www.abyssalchronicles.com/), an interview between Kotaku and Hideo Baba stated that the US release date for Tales of Xillia will be on August 6. Sorry to get your hopes down. Agarfinkel 3:53, April 7, 2013
why haven't you added all the characters in tales of xillia on this site
Who is "you"? There are several users who edit this wiki, and many of us have outside responsibilities. They will be added in time, but there is an infrastructure of priorities on this wiki that is too often ignored. If you wish to do so, you may as long as you abide by our Manual of Style. Also, please start a new conversation for a new topic on talk pages and sign your posts. If you have any issues figuring this out, simply ask.
Tales of Xillia timeline
Also, this indicates that Taleslations does not wish to be cited on wikis, but that permission is granted to use this information, so long as it is rewritten (which I've always done in this regard). Should we remove Taleslations reference links?
- Almost forgot to reply to this. Since Yume is expressly stating that she does not want her site to be cited for information, we will have to respect that wish. Citations should still be directed toward the source info, being whatever novels/drama CDs/other media that was used to provide the information. And the key point is that there is no direct copying of information, or even subtle changes of phrasing/synonyms. The articles have to be our own content, only using the information on her site as a base if we cannot get ahold of the source materials themselves. So any references to her should be removed per Yume's wishes, yes, but in its place, try to track down the relevant Perfect Guide and list that as the source of info.
- Speaking of which, I've been sitting on some other Tales guides
(and D&D manuals)that I borrowed from a friend like a year ago... I've been meaning to translate those myself, but I haven't had the time. I think I still have yet to fix up the other Vesperia arte pages with the special info hidden in one of those books.
Thankfully, Yuma includes her own sets of references, meaning all we really have to do is go through each page that has Taleslations references and simply replace the references with whatever she has listed in her references. I believe most, if not all, of these references are listed on Tales of the Abyss pages, as we heavily drew from Taleslations in that regard, primarily due to the very helpful timeline. It shouldn't be too hard for me to rectify this minor issue.
No, you should not create new pages. Our focus should be fleshing out existing pages, but your contributions in that regard have proven to be problematic due to a lack of proper grammar mechanics.
I believe it used to be a popular target for vandalism. Also, quit signing your posts twice.
I'm just now seeing this fully, but in the same manner that the God-Generals in TotA oppose specific protagonists, there's a pattern in ToX as well:
- Jude -- Gaius
- Milla -- Muzét
- Alvin -- Presa
- Leia -- Agria
- Elize -- Jiao
- Rowen -- Wingul
