Sections[]

To be honest, I think the section heads are rather distracting considering how small the sections are... And I'm not sure about the list of objects hiding as; I don't want to trek through Vesperia and Eternia again to document them all, and they're rather superfluous. Lanate (talk) 04:14, February 25, 2010 (UTC)

While I don't like to see game names as section headers in general, I will admit that they work well in the context of some articles. This is not one of them. I'm not particularly interested in rewriting this page to make it flow better though, so what else can we do. I'm just going to turn a blind eye to this page and the topic of cooking in general. (And after experiencing the Food Strap/Heal Stone/Arles Pot systems, cooking seems so mundane and silly now. Each of these systems should get their own pages at some point, yes.)
As for Mimi, she could and probably should have a separate article due to how much she interacts with the party beyond the usual "poof". I'm not adverse to the idea of giving her a page of her own, if it isn't extremely minimal like most randomly created new pages.

I think that, if we shouldn't have game names as sections, we could separate the article into sections for, for example, Wonder Chef's way to hide (because, in some games, he didn't hide, and it should be noted how he hides in objects out of place, etc.), then maybe have a section telling about additional roles in the games (in ToV, it was the whole ignoring and skit-thing, and in ToS, he gave Regal the costume of his ancestors (aka the original Wonder Chefs XD)), and from there maybe add more that I for the moment can't come up with. That way, the sections wouldn't be named after the games, and it would still be organized. Just a suggestion, though.

I agree; the page should be organized. Leave it the way it is for now, though (sorted by game), instead of just deleting all the headings (looking at you, Lanate).

Also, a friend of mine and I created this page when there wasn't one, so can my edits please have a little more respect, rather than just being undone? Bloodrealm 15:31, February 25, 2010 (UTC)

Hahaha. Respect. Right. Uh... we're saying we don't want to separate things by game, since that's entirely extraneous and unnecessary. Describe the Wonder Chef in general, since he has the same role in most of the games he appears in. Any games that have specific sidequests related to the Wonder Chef can be listed together, not separately. And I agree with Lanate about the list of miscellaneous objects.
Your idea of organization makes everything look more cluttered, whether you recognize it or not. With sections as small as these, they may as well not be sectioned at all.

Lock it down?[]

Until another game comes out with Wonder Chef, I'd call this page done. Is there any way to lock up things until new games and info shows up? (And if anyone complains, tell them to produce what needs to show up for info, and Aye/Nay from there)

Unless grandmaster Mayu wants to take a frying pan to that approach, and this comment? [Excuse the pun, completely unintended.]

This is an open wiki. We have no need to lock pages unless continuous vandalism is involved (and that shouldn't be an issue anymore now that I can use the banhammer), and more information can and should always be added, as it must be for all pages that exist. Hell, this page is one of the worst ones that exist that are -not- stub-length stupidity, and there are many things that I see that need to be fixed here, not that I have any interest in doing it.
Why would you even suggest this anyway? And on this page of all things? If you have the time to waste by looking through pages that YOU think are complete, you have the time to fix the ones that are NOT. To this day, I still have not seen any real contributions from you that are not completely pointless or related to infrastructure, so stop wasting your time here. Don't even reply to this, I don't want to see this topic bumped.
Remember guys, the reason I killed the Featured Article thing is because we don't HAVE enough articles to cycle through each month that are at a decent quality, and most of those that have been displayed before are only "good enough". And you'll notice that they have been edited and updated even after that. There is no such thing as perfection outside of the ideal Physics World, remember?
