The following is a list of Narikiri Dolls in the PlayStation 2 and Director's Cut versions of Tales of Destiny. They are accessories bought with points from Cyglorg, the NPC that gives access to the postgame dungeon Arcana Ruins. They are unlocked for sale in a specific order, based on the floors of the dungeon you have cleared so far. Narikiri Dolls allow a character to change into another party member in battle by equipping their respective doll. Any character can change into any other party member, even if that party member is not present. While transformed into another party member, the party member inherits their own effects, weaknesses and resistances from Swordian, weapon, armor, unique and accessory equipped and have access to all artes the corresponding character has available for themselves currently. The level of an unavailable party member raises with the average party level. Inheriting artes through New Game + also affects the artes available for the character in the new playthrough. Narikiri Dolls are automatically inherited into New Game +. A full party can enter battles equipping the same Narikiri Doll, resulting in a party of four of the same character. Narikiri Dolls can't be unequipped during battles.
Example: when equipping the Narikiri Stahn doll to Philia, Philia will appear as Stahn in battle but inherit all the effects of her equipment, and will have available to her all artes Stahn currently has available to himself, depending on his level and prerequisites that have been reached with him.
