The following is a list of mastery skills that are available to all playable characters in Tales of Graces. All skills that are exclusive to the PlayStation 3 version of the game are highlighted with a gray background.

Parameter Skills

Skill Name	Effect
Attack Plus アタック+ Attack+	provides a +1 bonus to physical attack upon leveling up
Mind Plus マインド+ Mind+	provides a +1 bonus to magical attack upon leveling up
Defense Plus デフェンス+ Defense+	provides a +1 bonus to physical defense upon leveling up
Resist Plus レジスト+ Resist+	provides a +1 bonus to magical defense upon leveling up
Aim Plus ヒット+ Hit+	provides a +1 bonus to accuracy upon leveling up
Evade Plus イヴェイド+ Evade+	provides a +1 bonus to evasion upon leveling up

Chain Capacity Skills

Skill Name	Effect
Exceed エクシード	provides a +1 bonus to to maximum CC Wii version: maximum CC cannot exceed 20 points
Rise ライズ	provides a +1 bonus to to minimum CC
Reinforce リフォース Re-Force	CC recovery speed is increased by 4%

Battle Skills

Hurt Strike フィダメージ Fi-Damage	increases damage by 15% while HP is at critical levels
Hurt Cast フィスペル Fi-Spell	decreases casting time by 1% while HP is at critical levels
Hurt Smash フィクリティ Fi-Criti	increases critical rate by 10% while HP is at critical levels
Hurt Shield フィプリベン Fi-Preben	increases damage reduction by 10% while HP is at critical levels
Hurt Stand フィステイ Fi-Stay	reduces hit recovery time by 20% while HP is at critical levels
Hurt Chain フィチェイン Fi-Chain	increases CC recovery speed while HP is at critical levels
Level Heal レブヒール Lev-Heal	recovers all HP at the end of battle upon leveling up
Level Master レブマスタリー Lev-Mastery	provides 1.5x more SP at the end of battle upon leveling up
Bench EXP サブエクス Sub-Ex	increases experience gain after battle by 10% while not in the active battle party this effect is stackable to a maximum of +50% experience gain, or +23% for Sophie
Bench HP サブヒール Sub-Heal	recovers 3% of max HP after battle while not in the active battle party this effect is stackable to a maximum of +15% HP recovery
Bench SP サブマスタリ Sub-Mastery	increases SP gain after battle by 10% while not in the active battle party this effect is stackable to a maximum of +50% SP gain, +23% for Sophie
1-Min Heal ヴィヒール Vi-Heal	recovers 20% of max HP after one minute in battle
1-Min Refill ヴィリリース Vi-Release	recovers all CC after one minute in battle
1-Min Cure ヴィリカバー Vi-Recover	recovers all status ailments after one minute in battle
1-Min Rise ヴィライズ Vi-Rise	recovers CC by 2 points after one minute in battle
1-Min Flash ヴィヴェイド Vi-Vade	provides four seconds of invulnerability after one minute in battle
Steadfast ペネトレイト Penetrate	exclusive to Asbel Lhant increases chance to prevent staggering when drawing sword by 1% this effect is stackable to a maximum of +3%
Recovery リカバリー	exclusive to Asbel Lhant (Wii version only) enables recovery from being tossed into the air by pressing the guard button
Hypercharge ブースト Boost	exclusive to Sophie decreases charging time for charge-based artes by 10% this effect is stackable to a maximum of +30%
Quickhand トリック Trick	exclusive to Hubert Oswell increases chance to shorten time to switch to Double Blades by 20% this effect is stackable to a maximum of +60%
Share シェア	exclusive to Cheria Barnes recovers 10% of max HP to self from casting healing spells, regardless of target this effect is stackable to a maximum of +30%
Accel^[1] アクセル	exclusive to Malik Caesar increases weapon recovery speed by 18% this effect is stackable to a maximum of +54%

Anchor シールド Shield	exclusive to Pascal increases chance to prevent staggering while casting by 15% this effect is stackable to a maximum of +45%
Charge Plus チャージ+ Charge+	available to all characters except Asbel Lhant after one second of charging a spell, charge turns red
Critical クリティカル	increases critical damage by 10% this effect is stackable to a maximum of +50% damage from titles
Enchant エンチャント	increases status increase duration by 20% this effect is stackable to a maximum of +100% duration
Free Run フリーラン	enables characters to run freely on the battle field at the cost of CC hold LEFT or RIGHT to activate skill removed in the PlayStation 3 version; to Free Run, hold down L2
Life Gain ライフゲイン	increases HP recovery by 10% when revived with Life Bottle this effect is stackable to a maximum of +50% HP recovery
Hard Guard プリベンド Prebend	increases damage reduction while guarding by 3% this effect is stackable to a maximum of +15% damage reduction
Survivor サバイバー	decreases item cool down delay by 8% this effect is stackable to a maximum of +40% cool down reduction
Parry Heal パリヒール	HP Recovery +3% on successful evasion
Accel アクセル	enables use of Accelerate Mode when Accelerate Gauge is filled to at least 50%
Stun スタン	recovers CC when attacking a stunned monster with the basic Assault Style attack
Costume コスチューム	enables costume changing without requiring the associated alias to be equipped
Asbel-ism アスべリッチ Asberich	available to all characters except Asbel Lhant enables the character to become Asbel during battle
Sophie-ism ソフィッチ Sophich	available to all characters except Sophie enables the character to become Sophie during battle
Hubert-ism ヒュべリッチ Huberich	available to all characters except Hubert Oswell enables the character to become Hubert during battle
Cheria-ism シェリアッチ Cheriach	available to all characters except Cheria Barnes enables the character to become Cheria during battle
Malik-ism マリキッチ Malikch	available to all characters except Malik Caesar enables the character to become Malik during battle
Pascal-ism パスカリッチ Pascarich	available to all characters except Pascal enables the character to become Pascal during battle
Richard-ism リッチ Rich	available to all characters except Richard enables the character to become Richard during battle

Recovery Skills

Skill Name	Effect
Absorb アブソーブ	available to all characters except Asbel Lhant increases HP recovery by 4 HP when hitting an enemy
Gain ゲイン	exclusive to Asbel Lhant increases HP recovery by 20~30 HP after defeating an enemy
Tension テンション	exclusive to Asbel Lhant increases HP recovery by 10~30 HP on criticals
Blessing ブレス Bless	available to all characters except Asbel Lhant increases recovery skill effectiveness by 4%
Holy ホーリィ	available to all characters except Asbel Lhant increases automatic HP recovery by 5 HP
Rescue レスキュー	exclusive to Asbel Lhant increases chance to recover when HP is at critical levels by 3%

CR Slow クリスロウ Cri-Slow	provides a +1 bonus to critical rate on enemies with the "Slow" status ailment
CR Defense クリディフェン Cri-Defense	provides a +1 bonus to critical rate on targets with decreased physical defense
CR Paralysis クリパライズ Cri-Paralyze	provides a +1 bonus to critical rate on enemies with the "Paralyze" status ailment
CR Aim クリヒット Cri-Hit	provides a +1% bonus to critical rate on targets with decreased accuracy
CR Poison クリポイズン Cri-Poison	provides a +1 bonus to critical rate on enemies with the "Poison" status ailment
CR Mind クリマインド Cri-Mind	provides a +1 bonus to critical rate on targets with decreased magical attack
CR Vitality クリマキシマ Cri-Maxima	provides a +1% bonus to critical rate on targets with full HP
CR Resist クリレジスト Cri-Resist	provides a +1 bonus to critical rate on targets with decreased magical defense

X-Curse ディスカース Dis-Curse	exclusive to Asbel Lhant, Cheria Barnes, Malik Caesar reduces chance of being affected with the "Curse" status ailment by 5%
X-Weak ディスシック Dis-Sick	exclusive to Hubert Oswell, Pascal reduces chance of being affected with the "Weak" status ailment by 5%

EB Life レイライフ Rei-Life	automatically resurrects if knocked out during Eleth Burst
EB Cure レイリカバー Rei-Recover	recovers all status ailments during Eleth Burst

Notes

↑ ^1.0 ^1.1 The "Accel" skill of the Wii version has been replaced with the "Release" skill in the PlayStation 3 version, due to the presence of a new "Accel" skill which enables Accelerate Mode.
