Towering Inferno (タワーリング・インフェルノ^?) is a mystic arte in the Tales series, thus far exclusive to Richter Abend in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

Arte Description and History

In Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Richter relinquishes his axe for the duration of the arte to use his sword with two hands. He proceeds to strike the nearest person and anyone else around him with several slashes, before pausing to focus his energy into a damaging shockwave. This is a Fire-elemental arte that Richter uses in his battles against the party, and he cannot use this attack while he is playable.

However, in Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3, where Richter is fully playable, he can use this mystic arte at will by normal methods, replacing Eternal Recurrence in Tales of VS.
