Hello, call me Moviebaby.
I'm an avid fan of the Tales series, as well as a dedicated gamer when it comes to RPGs. I thoroughly enjoy editing this wiki, helping monitor the Recent Changes, and maintaining a level of organized quality here. The paragraphs below are a list of the games I own, who I play as, and my personal summaries of each.

Tales of Symphonia
Edit
This was my first game of the series to play, and I adore it. For the longest, it was my favorite, but that soon changed to Tales of the Abyss. I must say, its strongest element is definitely its story, which I believe to be one of the strongest in the series as a whole. The characters are also nice, and the game gives you plenty of them for you to choose who you would like to play as. I play as Raine and sit back there casting spells. Master healer, at your service. I also enjoy playing as Sheena when Raine is not in the party because close-combat is generally fun and engaging as well. The battle system is nice; no Free Run yet, but certainly a step forward. The graphics are very pretty! I'm a sucker for the nostalgic quality.
Tales of Legendia
Edit
I was hesitant to play this game at first, knowing that the battle system was... not the best. However, I did play and enjoy it, surprising myself. I have two complaints: one being the lackluster battle system and other being random encounters because it slows the game down. The number of dungeons and lack of towns/cities also bothers me, but it's bearable. Did anyone else get annoyed at the simplistic names of many of the places? I did. Finally, the game's strong point: its story and character development. Once the game begins progessing, the story becomes interesting, and more is revealed about the characters. This game could have been so much more if not for its flaws. Maybe a future remake instead of these crappy ones they keep releasing? I played as Chloe in the beginning, then switched to Norma later.
Tales of the Abyss
Edit
My absolute favorite. I love this game. The story, characters, and battle system. All of it is fantastic. This game wins it for me. Sure, it's Sony, the loading time is a tad slow, and the graphics may appear rough at times, but the good aspects of the game take away from those tiny flaws entirely. I am unable to begin to express how amazing this story is, nor how in-depth the characters are. Perhaps the greatest aspect of this game is its battle system: finally, Free Run, and FOF Changes are interestingly amazing as well. I would like to note that this game greatly develops the antagonists as well, which I very much adore. I play as Natalia, my favorite character in the entire series, and I have never enjoyed a game as much as I did this one. Though granted, as much as I love Natalia, I also enjoy playing as Tear, perhaps my second favorite in the series. I usually play as Tear up until the point in which Natalia joins the party.
Tales of Vesperia
Edit
I enjoy this game, notably the visuals. The battle system is fantastic, and the characters are engaging and interesting. The graphics? Beautiful and clear, very anime-esque, and still the best yet, in my opinion. The game has quite a lot to offer, and I thoroughly enjoy the guild system aspect. I loathe the lack of being able to fully venture into the towns and cities, as they are absolutely gorgeous. I believe this game to be the last of the great ones. I play as Judith because sexiness.

The characters I choose to play as may seem different, but I always play as my favorites. As mentioned before, Natalia is my favorite character, with Tear probably being a close second. My favorite antagonist is Legretta, although I generally love Arietta as well. Other than video games, I enjoy drama films, romantic novels, and good music. My favorite singer is Madonna. I am in love with Marilyn Monroe. I have a passion for fiction and fantasy, which is why I fell in love with the Tales series and pretty much RPGs in general. Mmkay, that's all.
